The intended outcome of this study is to provide MCPS with clearly documented understanding of: 1.How MCPS administrative facilities are currently being utilized 2.How administrative employees currently work and how they anticipate working in the future 3.The space needs of MCPS administrative divisions and departments 4.Appropriate planning assumptions for personal workspace, collaboration, support, and shared administrative functions 5.Division and Departmental adjacency and operational requirements 6.The overall space requirements for MCPS administrative functions 7.Potential opportunities and implications associated with administrative facility consolidation 8.The operational and planning-level cost implications of alternative approaches 9.Recommendations and decision points that can be used by MCPS to determine whether and how to proceed with future planning phases.
